HealthRIGHT 360 offers many internship opportunities at multiple sites across the state. Our program allows for interns to gain hands on experience, training, and support from licensed staff.
Mental Health Clinician Internship
HealthRIGHT 360 offers robust internship programs at our facilities throughout California. Interns gain hands on clinical experience, training, and supervision. Students will provide individual and group therapy to clients with mental health diagnoses and co-occurring disorders, conduct psychosocial assessments and treatment planning. They work as an active team member and closely collaborate with treatment team members including psychiatrists, outside providers and community resources.

SUD Counselor Internship
Our SUD Counselor Internship program is specifically designed for students enrolled in a Drug and Alcohol Studies Program through an accredited educational program. Interns are able to observe the daily activities of a residential or outpatient SUD treatment program. Interns have an opportunity to shadow and co-facilitate with certified SUD Counselors and/or LPHAs during assessment, treatment planning, groups, classes, counseling sessions, and case management sessions. Interns will also have opportunities to work with staff and support clients in their process towards recovery. All interns receive regular weekly supervision with a Certified/Licensed SUD Counselor in a Supervisory Role, Registered LPHA, or Clinical Supervisor.

The Training and Apprenticeship Program
This is a paid 5-month program that will provide educational opportunities, work experience and pathways to employment to students and individuals with entry level or below experience and education, and those with lived experience interested in moving into the substance use disorder treatment field. The Apprenticeship Program further develops skills through real world experiences with our clients and staff and prepares Apprentices for future employment.
