If so, HealthRIGHT 360 is currently looking to fill an Administrative Assistant position at our EPA program in San Mateo County, CA.   
The ideal candidate has excellent organization skills and ability to multi task and juggles multiple priorities, ability to enter data into various electronic systems while maintaining the integrity and accuracy of the data and professionalism, punctuality, flexibility, and reliability are imperative. In this position you will have the chance to work with a diverse population, gain a greater understanding and compassion for those individuals who have substance use and mental health issues and the ability to conduct interviews with individuals to provide appropriate treatment needs.  Sound interesting? The Administrative Assistant is responsible for supporting the overall operations of the Engaging Positive Action Youth & TAY Program. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Provides clerical support to and for the Outpatient Program Including: data entry, photo copying, composing and sending memos/emails, developing tracking systems, maintaining paperwork, completing forms, filing various paperwork, updating and maintain logs etc.
  • Responsible for dispensing mail, greeting visitors and directs them to their destinations and also sets up appointments for future clients.
  • Responsible for the overall look of the facility ensuring that office is welcoming and in order
  • Facilitates orientation to prospective clients seeking services and support staff in completing client intakes for the program. Enters pertinent data into various electronic systems and ensures integrity and accuracy of the data.
  • Compliance Responsibilities: Collaborates with counselors, therapist and other available internal resources to ensure program compliance which includes auditing for: treatment plans, transition plans, progress notes, admissions, discharges, ASI's and other program requirements.
  • Makes treatment team aware of any discrepancies and follows up to ensure that discrepancies are addressed in a timely manner.

Education and Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Education and Experience


- High School diploma or equivalent OR Bachelor’s Degree in related field with Registration with Drug and Alcohol Certification recognized by DHCS (and become certified within 5 years or within the allotted timeframe specified by DHCS, whichever comes first)

-First Aid Certified within 30 days of employment

-CPR Certified within 30 days of employment


-Relevant experience working in outpatient settings

- Application of Gender Responsive and Trauma Informed principles and interventions

- Spanish speaking


Background Clearance


- Ability to obtain and maintain background clearance with successful discharge from probation or parole, and absence of drug/alcohol related arrests or convictions, for at least 3 years




-Culturally competent and able to work with a diverse population

-Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, specifically Word, Outlook, and Internet applications

-Experience working successfully with issues of substance abuse, mental health, criminal background, and other potential barriers to economic self sufficiency
