Join a dynamic, recovery-focused team supporting adults in San Mateo County who are in a mental health crisis. The Serenity House program offers daily recovery groups, providing skills which support recovery back to baseline functioning, establishing and maintaining healthy relationships, and promoting overall wellness. In addition to groups, the program offers one-on-one case management and psychotherapy services with the goal of serving our clients wherever they are on their recovery journeys.
Case Managers are an essential part of the Serenity House program. From the time clients enter the program, case managers support in assessing client’s needs and strengths, collaborating with clients in treatment planning, and engaging clients in the process of supporting their health and recovery. They provide individual and group counseling to adults and deliver curricula in accordance with program specific requirements. Case Managers also assist clients in navigating systems of care and accessing resources, while providing a supportive treatment environment.
The Care Manager I is responsible for assessing client needs and strengths in support of health and recovery. Through a gender responsive, trauma informed approach, this position provides case management and care coordination in individual and group settings using curricula in accordance with program specific requirements under the supervision of a licensed clinical professional. Additionally, the Mental Health Case Manager I will provide individual case management, linkage and brokerage to assist clients in navigating systems of care while providing a supportive treatment environment.
