If so, HealthRIGHT 360 is currently looking to fill a CBT Facilitator position opening at our Folsom Women's Facility in Represa, CA. In this position, you will gain experience working in collaboration with a team of professionals whose desire is to create change in people’s lives. The ideal candidate has experience with working with the criminal justice population, experience providing CBT services, and knowledge of clinical documentation, substance abuse, and cognitive behavior therapy. 

The Women's Gender Responsive, Trauma-Informed Rehabilitative Program is located in an incarcerated setting. The Women's Gender Responsive Program includes Substance Use Disorder Treatment (SUDT) and Cognitive Behavioral Treatment (CBT) for offenders, that will address the offenders' criminogenic needs prior to release and to facilitate a successful transition back to their communities in order to reduce their likelihood of re-offending. The CBT program shall address substance used disorder, criminal thinking, anger management and family relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • The Rehabilitative Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) Facilitator is responsible for delivery of direct services to participants participating in the following CBT curricula; Criminal Thinking, Anger Management and Family Relations
  • Responsible for the delivery of face to face activities with the participants 
  • Responsible for delivery of program orientation, cognitive skill building classes, individual counseling sessions
  • Provides assistance with behavior modification through teaching, encourage participants to utilize program tools, and evaluate participant progress
  • Will provide genuine warmth, empathy and honest sensitivity with the goal of facilitating positive change in participants

Education and Knowledge, Skills and Abilities


  • Ability to work with diverse population
  • Ability to receive and maintain CDCR clearance
  • Ability to express empathy and compassion and communicate honestly by providing feedback for negative as well as positive behaviors
  • Experience in group facilitation
  • High school Diploma or its equivalent, and have one (1) year experience providing CBT services
Compensation: $19.00
Type: Hourly/ Non-exempt
