Compliance Coordinator

Job Overview

The Compliance Coordinator is the liaison between the behavioral health program and the compliance department. The Coordinator is an integral part of the behavioral healthcare team, helping to support the team to meet regulatory requirements for documentation. 

The compliance coordinator provides oversight of all internal tracking systems to ensure that all programs are following DHCS Title 22, DMC-ODS, AOD Licensing , Certification & Treatment Standards. Compliance supports the agency to mitigate risk ensuring that programs are able to provide services as described within agency contracts and guiding regulations. 


Key Responsibilities

  • The Compliance Coordinator provides trainings on Compliance Documentation Training, State regulations , and internal audit tool to Programs. 
  • Compliance Coordinator conducts internal chart audits and initiates Corrective Action Plan (CAPS) during Internal Chart Audits and follows up on CAPS all the way through to completion. 
  • Prepares Monthly and weekly Chart Compliance Reports.  
  • Provides Program Audit Support during external Program Audits. 
  • Responsible for the integration of Behavioral Health Programs and Compliance department to ensure accuracy and efficiency. 
  • Represents HealthRIGHT 360 by attending external meetings and trainings when assigned. 
  • Maintains compliance with agency’s policies and procedures.


Education and Knowledge, Skills and Abilities


  •  Bachelor’s Degree in related field or SUD Certification 
  •  Master’s Degree and BBS Registration preferred


  •  Background in compliance or auditing
  •  Familiarity with DMC regulatory requirements
  •  Familiarity with DMH regulatory requirements


Compensation: $60,000.00
