Job Overview

HealthRIGHT 360 is a non-profit healthcare organization with programs throughout California. Across its many programs, HR360 provides a wide range of medical, mental, educational,  and enabling health services to address the needs of its community across the lifespan. This includes primary and urgent care, dental care, substance use disorder treatment including detox, residential, intensive outpatient and outpatient, medically assisted treatment (MAT), psychiatric and behavioral health care, prevention, re-entry, case management and support for social determinants of health, and care coordination. HR360 programs serve populations including individuals experiencing homelessness, people of color, the LGBTQ community, ex-offenders, mental illness, and substance using individuals. May be required to work nights and weekends.

In conjunction with the Chief Healthcare Officer (CHO) is responsible for providing clinical leadership, fostering superior quality patient care, developing and advancing clinical strategic goals and direction, and provide for the recruitment and retention, credentialing and privileging of the medical staff at HealthRight360 (HR360).  Provides direct supervision for Isolation and Quarantine Hotel, as well as leadership for clinic and behavioral health medical services and addiction medicine. Works cooperatively and effectively with the CHO and Executive Management Team, utilizing a balanced and collaborative approach to include the perspective of all disciplines involved in the organization’s services, ensuring the achievement of annual strategic goals, and objectives. 

Key Responsibilities

Essential Functions:

  • Direct responsibility for medical leadership team at HR360, to include recruitment, orientation, development, coaching clinical supervision, evaluation, clinical quality oversight, and termination.
  • Oversees the medical care at the Isolation and Quarantine Hotel. 
  • Provides support to medical staff in behavioral health programs. 
  • Recommends credentialing and privileging of providers to the Chief Healthcare Officer.
  • Indirect responsibility for all medical staff at HR360, to include recruitment, orientation, development, supervision, evaluation, and quality oversight.
  • Work collaboratively with the Medical Leadership Team and Vice President of Medical Services in monitoring the clinical performance of the EHR, and oversees updating the system, testing and implementation of new components; sets priorities for new EHR initiatives.
  • Provides supervision to Addiction Medical Directors and works collaboratively to support Addiction treatment, specifically Medication Assisted Treatment, in clinic and behavioral health program settings. 

Clinical Duties: 

  • Provides direct health care to patients presenting for care at HR360 with or without appointments as a member of the Primary Care Team.
  • Covers call for Directors who are away or provides back up.

Education and Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Education and Experience Required:

  • Graduate of approved medical school.
  • Board certified in appropriate discipline. Will be expected to maintain appropriate board certification, licensure, and membership in professional organizations.
  • Licensed to practice medicine in the State of California.
  • Eligible to obtain and maintain a federal and state narcotic registration.
  • 10 years proven successful experience as a practicing clinician.
  • Minimum 5 years successful senior/director level management experience.


  • Bilingual. 
  • Skill with electronic medical records.
  • Familiarity with federally qualified health centers or FQHC look alike. Experience working in a not-for-profit organization, with annual operating margin goals.
  • Experience working with low-income, multi-ethnic populations.
