Haight Ashbury Free Clinic (HAFC) at the Integrated Care Center (ICC) offers primary medical, dental, substance use disorder treatment, and mental health services guided by the principle that "Healthcare is a Right, Not a Privilege." HAFC/ICC provides compassionate, nonjudgmental care to patients who experienced homelessness, poverty, and addiction. Our providers have specialized expertise in preventative health, acute and chronic conditions, the treatment of infectious disease, and addiction.
Evaluation and treatment of acute and chronic medical issues.
Integrated primary care and behavioral health services.
Dental services for adults (children on Saturdays).
Follow-up of chronic and ongoing medical problems.
Routine physical and healthcare maintenance.
Screening for many health disorders including sexually transmitted infections, hepatitis C, colon cancers, etc.
Chronic disease management, such as HIV, asthma, COPD, diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, anemia, hepatitis B & C.
Women's health care services, including family planning, pregnancy test, breast exams, and cervical and breast cancer screenings.
Geriatric health care services.
Behavioral Health Services (individual and group therapy).
Confidential HIV and Hepatitis C testing, counseling, and treatment.
Substance use services, including Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) and Tobacco cessation treatment.
TB screenings and treatment.
Case management, housing resources, and employment services.
On-site charter school to earn a high school diploma or GED.
