North County Serenity House, A Program of HealthRIGHT 360 was founded in 1966 to provide substance use disorder services in the community. North County Serenity House provides a gender-responsive and trauma-informed environment, using evidence-based and best practices that recognize and account for the role that trauma frequently plays in substance use and criminal histories of women. For clients with co-occurring mental illness, we provide integrated substance use and mental health services which treat both conditions as primary. Our North County Serenity House Outpatient Program in Oceanside offers outpatient and intensive outpatient substance use treatment to women and pregnant or parenting female teenagers along with recovery services. Our outpatient services also include homeless outreach in the community.
The Lead Clinician is a licensed professional who provides both clinical supervision to staff and assists with the delivery of direct services to participants. The lead clinician is responsible for providing on-going supervision and training of clinical staff and interns and may also provide administrative supervision for unlicensed clinicians and interns. The Lead Clinician will also provide staff development assistance for all assigned staff. Direct participant care services are expected to be provided in a manner that exemplifies HealthRIGHT 360’s philosophy, goals, policies, mission and vision, that may include clinical assessments, individual, family, and group behavioral health services. The Lead Clinicians also conducts mental health and substance use disorder assessments and evaluations to identify behaviors and problems related to a participant’s addiction and potential co-occurring disorders through the use of ASAM and DSM criteria. S/he acts as a liaison between the agency and outside organizations, linking participants with the appropriate resources to meet their health, mental health and human service needs. The primary objective of the Lead Clinician is to help ensure the provision of quality participant care and effective team performance to meet organizational goals.
