Job Overview
The Tustin Family Campus program is an 18 month residential treatment program serving 15 mothers with up to 32 children. All residents have open Child and Family Service Cases in the County of Orange. These mothers are working to reunify with their children while at the same time addressing their histories with addiction and mental health. Our treatment team works closely with Orange County Social Services, Orange County Mental Health and Family Court to ensure successful case plan completion and reunification. Clients receive substance abuse counseling and education, counseling and education in parenting and life skills as well as individual and group therapy for both mothers and children. The goal for our clients is that they graduate with custody of their children, affordable housing and a steady income.
The Life Skills Development Manager will provide life skills education, ensure that contract goals with regards to the client savings requirement and GED completion are met, assist clients with housing and employment needs including identifying, applying for and using housing assistance, constructing resumes, monitoring job seeking activity and the pursuit of individual education goals.
