Prevention & Aftercare (P&A) is a comprehensive child abuse prevention and aftercare program. P&A uses a strength-based approach to engage families that includes cultural relevancy and community capacity building. We provide case management, home visitation, groups, and community services across the San Gabriel Valley (SPA 3).

The P&A Supervisor will be responsible for the implementation of County DCFS Directed Projects including work plan implementation and collaborative services with Subcontractors including successful planning and implementation of all activities.   

Key Responsibilities

Key job responsibilities of this job include:

  • Serve as point of contact and collaborator with the four DCFS offices in the San Gabriel Valley – Pomona, El Monte, Glendora, and Pasadena
  • Coordinate the DCFS Directed Projects according to the Work Plans including time line and implementation of tasks.
  • Network with community organizations and host community coalition meetings.
  • Communicate DCFS event updates with the Prevention & Aftercare team.
  • Host quarterly meetings with the DCFS Regional Administrators to ensure compliance with the Work Plan.
  • Monitor budget and funding allocation for each DCFS office and ensure funds are utilized effectively.
  • Collect information for vendors and ensure their appropriateness to deliver services.
  • Gather and process invoices with Accounts Payable and follow up on invoices.
  • Provide monthly documentation on progress of DCFS Directed Projects
  • Review Subcontractor Work Plans and ensure that our partners are following their scope of work.
  • Host quarterly meetings with Subcontractors for training and information sharing.
  • Visit Subcontractor agencies twice per year and review charts deliverables to ensure compliance with Work Plan.
  • Complete documentation regarding Subcontractor progress in a timely and accurate manner.  
  • Responsible for implementing fidelity of evidence-based models and data evaluation outcomes.

Key management responsibilities include:

  • Understands HealthRIGHT 360’s strategic vision and finds ways to implement the vision at the prevention and treatment services level.
  • Responsible for ensuring all reports, required data, and documentation are submitted to the funder.
  • Implements integration of behavioral health services to improve the continuum of client care.
  • Ensures compliance with HIPAA, 42CFR regulations and all other funding mandates and licensing requirements.
  • Ensures program staff, Manager and other senior management are informed on quality of care concerns through regular reporting and/or team discussions.
  • Represent the agency and the program at relevant community meetings, trainings, and events.
  • Attend all trainings, meetings and weekly Supervision.
  • Works collaboratively with all level staff across all Prototypes/Health Right 360 programs.
  • Ensures all direct reports are in compliance with HR 360 policies, procedures and position expectations and performance goals.

And, other duties as assigned by Manager.

Education and Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Education and Experience


·         Master’s Degree in psychology, social work, human development, or related field

·         Minimum of three years’ experience providing supervision to direct service providers in comparable size agencies with similar clients.

Background Clearance


-Live scan DOJ and FBI fingerprint clearance

-Must not be on parole or probation for a minimum of two years



-Culturally competent and able to work with a diverse population

-Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, specifically Word Outlook and internet applications
