Job Overview

Prototypes, at the beautiful Tustin Family Campus, is an 18 month residential treatment program serving 15 mothers with up to 32 children. All residents have open Child and Family Service Cases in the County of Orange. These mothers are working to reunify with their children while at the same time addressing their histories with addiction and mental health. Our treatment team works closely with Orange County Social Services, Orange County Mental Health and Family Court to ensure successful case plan completion and reunification. Clients receive substance abuse counseling and education, counseling and education in parenting and life skills as well as individual and group therapy for both mothers and children. The goal for our clients is that they graduate with custody of their children, affordable housing and a steady income. 

Key Responsibilities

Responsible for ensuring that direct reports provide strengths based, trauma informed, and culturally competent services.

Responsible for clinical and administrative oversight of all treatment services provided by direct reports within scope of practice.

Participates in interviewing, selection and hiring. 

Responsible for performance management including, direct clinical supervision and professional development as well as performance improvement plans, formal written warning notices and terminations of direct reports as needed.

Ensures staff documentation including treatment plans, monthly reports, quarterly reports, progress notes, case reviews, and chart audits is completed in compliance with all standards including, state licensing,  accreditation agency and funder guidelines 

Participate in weekly treatment team meetings and quarterly supervisors meetings. Facilitate weekly case reviews. 

Responsible to provide direct services as necessary

Position requires part time on-call responsibility  

Education and Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Must possess a current, CA,  certification for treating substance use disorders

Must possess a BA or higher in a related field.

Must have experience working with mothers and children. Prefer some child development and/or parenting educaiton

Prefer 2 years supervisory experience

Prefer 2 years experience working in residential treatment

Must have valid CDL

Compensation: $55,000.00
