Quality Assurance Specialist

Job Overview

We operate as a residential facility that serves up to 120 women (with the capacity for up to 20 children under the age of 5) seeking recovery from substance use disorders. We offer gender responsive, trauma informed, person- centered and evidence based interventions.  For clients with co-occurring mental illness, we provide integrated substance use and mental health services which treat both conditions as primary.

Key Responsibilities

Database Management Responsibilities

  • Contacts preparers of source documents to resolve questions, inconsistencies, or missing data
  • Confirms accuracy of data such as course numbers, days, dates, times, locations, and instructors
  • Compares data entered with source documents
  • Reviews and assists staff with making necessary corrections to information entered
  • Compiles, sorts, and verifies accuracy of data to be entered
  • Maintains confidential information

Administrative Responsibilities

  • Keeps track of received data and source documents
  • Monitors programs and services in order to ensure that desired changes are effected, objectives are achieved, and program changes are maintained
  • Prepares and sort source documents, and identify and interpret data to be entered
  • Performs general clerical duties such as typing, filing etc.
  • Process various forms
  • Generate reports and respond to inquiries regarding entered data as requested
  • Attends required training and meetings

Record Management Responsibilities

  • Creates, opens, updates, closes and archives client files in accordance with department procedures
  • Assists in establishing and maintaining effective and efficient records management systems

Education and Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Previous work experience working with Microsoft Excel
  • Culturally competent and able to work with a diverse population
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, specifically Word Outlook and internet applications
  • Experience working successfully with issues of substance abuse, mental health, and other potential barriers to economic self sufficiency
  • Ability to enter data into various electronic systems while maintaining the integrity and accuracy of the data
  • Professionalism, punctuality, flexibility and reliability are imperative
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
  • Integrity to handle sensitive information in a confidential manner

Compensation: $18.51-$20.50
Type: Hourly/ Non-exempt
