Roads To Recovery Program Manager

Job Overview

The Roads to Recovery Program is located in San Bruno and is a SUD plus case management program. Roads consists of facilitating groups and classes along with case management. We work to engage our males in SUD treatment post release. The Program Coordinator is responsible for coordination of the program, directly trains and supervises counseling staff, facilitates groups and classes, carries a caseload. Schedules all program activities, and provides leadership and exemplifies integrity to staff and clients. 

Key Responsibilities

Program Management Responsibilities: Plans, directs and implements all aspects of the program, including clinical treatment under direction of the Director. Ensures that treatment is in accord with the Sheriffs' Department contract and that there is a seamless integration of services. 

Supervisory Responsibilities: Assists in all aspects of program management, including direct supervision and mentoring of subordinate supervisory staff. Activities include but are not limited to, assisting with hiring, training, motivating, evaluating, and progressive discipline. 

Development and Planning Responsibilities: Advises Director on potential improvements in efficiency, and productivity. Stays current on new developments in treatment and changes in the client population;modifies program accordingly. Takes active role in planning and development activities. Acts as liaison with the Sheriff Department.

 

Education and Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Education
Required:
-Drug and Alcohol Certification recognized by ADP or
Bachelor’s Degree in related field and Registration with Drug and Alcohol Certification recognized by ADP
-3 years of experience in a supervisory role
-3 years of experience in in-custody setting
-2 years of college studying psychology, sociology criminal justice, women’s studies, ethnic studies (1 year of additional in-custody experience may be substituted for 1 year of college)
-First Aid Certified within 60 days of employment
-CPR Certified within 60 days of employment
-A valid California driver’s license
Background Clearance
Required:
-Must not be on active parole or probation
- Maintain security clearance from Sheriff’s Department

Compensation: $46,000.00-$50,000.00
