Job Overview

Prototypes Women's Center-Oxnard provides detoxification and residential substance abuse treatment to women. Our program is unique in that women can bring their children in to treatment with them, so they do not have to separate from their children to get services. Our goal is to help stabilize women in their recovery and transition them to outpatient services, stable housing, a new support group and employment/school.

The Supervisor of QI & QA will be responsible for helping manage the program and providing treatment oversight. This individual should have a positive attitude, be a strong leader, and have strong organizational skills. This person will also be a leader on an interdisciplinary team, as well as coordinating with county funders and other agency leaders.

Key Responsibilities

Works as part of the Management Team to ensure  that all treatment services and activities are executed in keeping with the organization’s values, mission, vision and strategy. 
•The Supervisor is responsible for coordinating day-to-day operations and oversight to meet program goals and objectives.
•Responsible for implementing service delivery that is high quality, client-centered, trauma informed, and culturally relevant.
 Responsible for quality assurance of programs
•Responsible for SUD clinical chart auditing to ensure that programs are documenting in accordance with state regulations & AOD Treatment Standards 
•Has a key role in the integration of Behavioral Health programs and the Compliance Department
•Provides guidance, support and training to clinical program staff to ensure clinical documentation practices are aligned with and meet state regulations, treatment standards & HR360 compliance documentation requirements
•Responsible for ensuring HIPAA compliance throughout programs. 
•Responsible for tracking & reporting documentation trends to our clinical and compliance teams
•Works with clinical teams and compliance to minimize risks associated with clinical documentation practices
•Works with clinical teams to ensure compliance with agency’s policies and procedures
•Attends internal and external meetings as assigned.
•Collaborates with program staff to support processes and compliance needs


Education and Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Degree varies by program. 
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to delegate, set goals, provides timely performance feedback and motivate others.
• Minimum of three years experience providing supervision to direct service providers in comparable size agencies with similar clients.
• Experience with efficient and effective treatment and management of clients with chronic health problems and co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders.
• Knowledge of and experience with providing culturally competent services.
• Knowledge of and experience with providing trauma informed services.
•Background in compliance or auditing and familiarity with SUD clinical documentation practices 
•Title 22 DMC-ODS Regulations
•AOD Certified or
•Licensed or licensed eligible Mental Health
