Job Overview

The Community Prisoner Mother Program is an in-custody, long term residential program located on the campus of Prototypes Women's Center in Pomona. Prototypes is a 180 bed facility providing substance abuse and mental health services to women and women with children

Key Responsibilities

  • This is a 16 hour per week position with flexible hours. Candidates should be able to:
  • Assists clients with criminal justice involvement with services which may include individual therapy, group therapy, collateral sessions, family sessions, and/or psycho-social   rehabilitation groups and individual sessions.
  • Responsible for maintaining documentation of activities and client interactions to be compliant with agency, HIPAA, and funder standards.
  • Ensures documentation is of high quality and is submitted in a timely manner.
  • Work as part of treatment team in collaboration with the prescribing providers, therapists, case managers, and other team members.
  • Assist in crisis and symptom management within assigned program(s).
  • If applicable, complete full assessments for clients entering treatment.
  • Contacts Supervisor or other management staff if consultation related to client/program issues is needed during assignment.

Education and Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Preferably masters degree in MSW or MFT
• Clinical Experience supervising direct service staff
• Must possess a basic understanding of all ages of development (birth-59 years old), child abuse, substance abuse issues,  impact of trauma, and forensics.
• Prefer experience in using evidenced-based practices and trauma-informed care.
• Must be able to pass background/criminal check.
• Valid California Driver's License, proof of insurance

Compensation: $18.00
