Job Overview

HealthRight 360 is a 200 bed residential facility for men who are in custody and on parole. We provide comprehensive substance use disorder, mental health, and psychiatric care by an interdisciplinary team of professionals. Treatment episode ranges in time from 60 days to 12 months. HealthRight 360 is a fast-based environment where communication is paramount in order to provide cutting edge services to men in a residential treatment setting as well as their families.

  • Experience with trauma focused therapy.
  • Knowledge of Evidenced-Based Practices.
  • Experience working on an interdisciplinary team.
  • Exposure to a wide range of psychiatric diagnoses.
  • Supervision of mental health interns.

Key Responsibilities

Individual Treatment Responsibilities:

  • Conduct individual therapy, facilitate mental health groups, and provide crisis intervention when necessary.
  • Supervision of mental health doctoral and masters level interns including oversight of charts and client treatment.
  • Maintain confidentiality while working as part of a treatment team and adhering with program norms.
  • Participate in case conferences, treatment planning, and clinical discussions to provide holistic care.

Community Responsibilities:

  • Conduct process groups and psychoeducational classes with program participants.
  • Provide training to the staff team on various topics on.
  • Performs floor duties in the milieu that include (but are not limited to) assisting clients in coordinating outside appointments and transportation, overseeing client participation in program activities, and mediating client conflict when it arises.
  • Review cases with staff weekly.
  • Participate in clinical meetings and provide referrals for off-site mental health services for family services as needed.
  • Serve on committees and work on a rotating schedule as needed.

Documentation Responsibilities:

  • Document individual and group services delivered in various electronic systems in accordance with guidelines established by HealthRIGHT 360 to satisfy internal and external evaluating requirements.
  • Individual and group therapy documentation including: Assessments and Diagnosis, and Crisis Intervention.
  • Substance abuse and/or co-occurring disorders experience desired.

Education and Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Education and Experience:

  • Masters level degree in Marriage & Family Therapy or Social work, or a doctoral degree in psychology
  • Must be registered and in good standing with the BBS or BOP.

Required:

  • First Aid Certified within 30 days of employment.
  • CPR Certified within 30 days of employment.

Background Clearance Required:

  • Must not be on active parole or probation.

Knowledge Required:

  • In-depth knowledge of all aspects of working with men in residential treatment setting as well as their families.
  • Specialized knowledge such as family therapy and Celebrating Families, Seeking Safety, life skills, anger management, criminal behavior, crisis intervention.
  • Culturally competent and able to work with a diverse population.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, specifically Word Outlook and internet applications.
  • Experience working successfully with issues of substance abuse, mental health, criminal background, and other potential barriers to economic self sufficiency.
