The Training and Safety Assistant is responsible for administrative tasks related to HealthRIGHT 360’s Training Department and Health & Safety Program. The Training and Safety Assistant supports the Training and Safety Manager by ensuring the documentation of in-person, distance learning, and online learning activities as well as assisting with in-person trainings and maintaining user accounts in the Relias online learning management system. The Training and Safety Assistant also plays a pivotal role in ensuring the safety of our programs by tracking safety drills, collaborating with Health & Safety Representatives to ensure all emergency preparedness documentation is current, and emergency supplies are onsite. Duties also include assisting in the development of materials for both training and safety purposes, which will include keeping our SharePoint Intranet up to date.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for both data entry and managing information in the Relias Learning Management System, such as creating and updating user accounts, processing training sign-in sheets and entering training events, and updating user hierarchies.
  • Provide administrative and in-person support for training events.
  • Respond to Relias Support tickets through the agency's online web help desk ticket system.
  • Assist programs with setting up Relias reports and responses to audits.
  • Create, review, and edit content for the Training Department and Health & Safety Program.
  • Receive and maintain files related to Health & Safety Action Items, such as checklists and safety drills.
  • Orders and distributes emergency & disaster supplies.
  • Prepares meeting materials, such as, agendas, maintenance request tracker, and meeting minutes, for Health & Safety Committee Meetings and Health & Safety and Operations Meetings.
  • Maintains Health & Safety and Training SharePoint pages and Outlook inboxes.

Education and Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Preferred Education:

  • BA in Education, Social Work/Psychology, or a related field.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Preferred experience with Articulate 360 and SharePoint.
  • Collaborative and proactive problem solver.
  • Strong ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize.
  • Highly organized.
  • Excellent customer service.
  • Excellent writing, grammar, and spelling skills.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills and comfort with public speaking.
  • Ability to perform scheduling, documentation, and coordination.
  • Skilled in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to troubleshoot user computer issues.
  • Interest in training and safety.
