Job Overview

HealthRIGHT 360 is a non-profit healthcare organization with programs throughout California. Across its many programs, HR360 provides a wide range of medical, mental, educational and enabling health services to address the needs of its community across the lifespan. This includes primary and urgent care, dental care, substance use disorder treatment including detox, residential, intensive outpatient and outpatient, medically assisted treatment (MAT), psychiatric and behavioral health care, case management and support for social determinants of health, and care coordination. HR360 programs serve populations including individuals experiencing homelessness, people of color, the LGBTQ community, ex-offenders, and substance using individuals. 

We are looking for an executive with expertise in Quality Improvement and Informatics to help develop and spread a culture of quality through the organization using data to drive practice transformation and meet the needs of the communities we serve.

The VP of QI and Informatics works across the organization with the Chief Healthcare Officer to ensure that data-driven performance management and quality improvement programs are designed and implemented in a manner that aligns with an organization’s overall strategy to achieve the Quadruple Aim. Acts as a chief advocate for spreading a culture of quality throughout all levels of the organization through effective leadership and communication to 
the Executive and Management team, Boards, Committees, and staff. Works well in a team and promotes team based work in assuring quality of care. Works with the Chief Healthcare Officer to create a quality improvement structure and annual quality improvement plan for the organization.

 

Key Responsibilities

Leadership duties:

  • In conjunction with the Chief Healthcare Officer develops a strategic vision, scope and mission for quality improvement and data driven practice.
  • Along with the Chief Healthcare Officer leads LEAN efforts in the agency.
  • Provide reporting and informatics leadership.

Administrative duties:

  • Creating of QI structure and plan with oversight and accountability for reaching goals.
  • Researching and developing quality improvement programs to provide services that lead to better healthcare outcomes.

QI/Informatics duties:

  • Assists the Chief Healthcare Officer in overseeing a corporate-wide quality improvement program inclusive of all medical and behavioral health programs, develops and maintains a written Quality Improvement Plan and an annual evaluation of the plan’s effectiveness.
  • Works with the EHR, BI, Information Systems, and Networks department to develop the technology infrastructure needed to support quality improvement programs if needed.

Education and Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Education Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Focus on quality and informatics.

Desired:

  • Master's degree preferred.
  • Certification or formal training in informatics.
  • One to three years’ experience in health systems, services, care settings or customer service areas preferred. 
  • Demonstrated interest in data, quality improvement and technology a plus.

Salary starting at $130K DOE.

Compensation: $130,000.00
