Counselors or Care Coordinators are an important part of the San Mateo County Outpatient Program. They are responsible for assessing adult and youth client needs and strengths to collaboratively create treatment plans with their clients that support their health and recovery. The care coordinator/counselor will provide individual and group counseling to adults and youth; deliver curricula in accordance with program specific requirements. Counselors assist clients in navigating systems of care while providing a supportive treatment environment.
