Prototypes Women's Center-Oxnard provides detoxification and residential substance abuse treatment to women. Our program is unique in that women can bring their children in.
Supervises and educate clients assigned to the Parenting Center in developmentally appropriate practices with infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and school age children. Guides clients in the practice and integration of our Parenting Program Education.

Responsible for supervision of clients, evaluating immediate client need, responding to client needs, and directing them to services into treatment with them, so they do not have to separate from their children to get services. Our goal is to help stabilize women in their recovery and transition them to outpatient services, stable housing, a new support group and employment/school.

The Intake Specialist performs and completes all aspects of the intake process from screening, assessment to determine needed level of care, referrals, collaboration with community agencies, funding determination, and admission. This can include outpatient, residential, or detoxification services in areas of domestic violence, substance abuse and issues of mental health.
