Monday through Friday, 8:40 AM – 12 PM and 1 PM – 4:45 PM

Closed for lunch 12:00 PM—1:00 PM

When Dr. David Smith opened Haight Ashbury Free Clinics in 1967, it was the first nonsectarian free medical clinic in the United States. Over 400 patients were seen in its first week of operation, launching decades of innovation for delivering primary healthcare services to those who can least afford them.

Haight Ashbury Medical Clinics was there for me when I did not have medical insurance. I was out of work and came down with pneumonia. I am still a loyal patient to the clinic and want to say thank you for all they have done for me!
