We are pleased to announce that as of October 1, 2019 Discovery Childcare Center in Escondido will be operated by North County Community Services, dba Growing Minds Early Education Programs. In a joint effort, HealthRIGHT 360 transferred Discovery Childcare Center in its entirety to Growing Minds, a local non-profit organization serving northern San Diego County since the 1960s. Growing Minds operates child development centers throughout north San Diego County for over 300 income-eligible families, and the transition of this new program will be smooth and seamless process for all involved.
The staff at Growing Minds is dedicated to continuing Discovery Childcare Center’s commitment of bettering the community by providing programs that educate young children, support working families, and ultimately create opportunities to improve the quality of life for residents of North County. We are extremely appreciative for the dedication of the Discovery staff as they maintain stability for the families served.
