Announcement Regarding HealthRIGHT 360 Services in San Francisco: Primary Care Clinic Consolidation and New Mobile Services – August 6, 2019

HealthRIGHT 360 is making changes to our primary care services in San Francisco in order to preserve our ability to provide the high quality, judgement-free care that tens of thousands have relied on since 1967. We are consolidating our primary care services into two centrally-located clinics operated by HealthRIGHT 360 that offer a broad array of supportive services: the Lyon Martin & Women’s Community Clinic located at 1735 Mission street and the Haight Ashbury Free Clinic located at 1563 Mission street.

In order to maintain a presence in the communities we have historically served, and to reach those who haven’t connected with care because of mobility or logistical issues, we are launching Mobile Medical Services. These street-based services will focus on areas of greatest need: places where people are living outside, the Haight Ashbury neighborhood, and the patients previously receiving care from Tenderloin Health Services. The mobile clinic has two complete exam rooms, a waiting area, a bathroom, refrigerator, and an elevator wheelchair lift.

On October 4, 2019 we will close our Tenderloin Health Services site. Located at GLIDE, HealthRIGHT 360 has operated this site since April 2015. Clinic staff are working to transition patients to continued care at other HealthRIGHT 360 sites or mobile services, or other clinics in the Tenderloin – based entirely on each patient’s preference. We loved being located at GLIDE, and sincerely thank the GLIDE family for welcoming us into their radically inclusive community.

As of July 2019, we are pausing primary care services at the Haight Ashbury Free Clinic located at 558 Clayton street. The care teams and patients have transitioned to the Haight Ashbury Free Clinic site in our Integrated Care Center at 1563 Mission street. We plan to bring the original 558 Clayton location back to its groovy roots and re-launch as volunteer-based clinic before the end of 2019 and will also be serving the Haight Ashbury neighborhood through our Mobile Medical Services.

We will be able to provide Mobile Medical Services thanks to generous seed funding from an anonymous donor who provided the anchor gift, and Sutter Health CPMC, Wells Fargo, and St. Mary’s Hospital who generously followed.
