Homeless health care nonprofit continues renovation of main building.
HealthRight 360, a San Francisco nonprofit that provides health care services to the homeless and other vulnerable low-income populations, is roughly two-thirds of the way through revamping its new $51 million headquarters at 1563 Mission St.
Renovation is slated for completion in April, spokeswoman Serene Buckley said.
The nonprofit has raised $5 million towards a $15 million capital project to help pay for the revamped 50,000-square-foot, five-story facility, which will be used for administrative offices, a primary care medical clinic, outpatient mental health services and substance abuse treatment, along with housing, education and employment resources.
HDR Inc. is the project’s architect.
This spring, HealthRight360 closed on $51 million in subsidized financing for the project and other needs.
Kaiser Permanente has chipped in with a $500,000 donation; the largest gift so far is an anonymous one totaling $2 million, Buckley said.
Vitka Eisen is CEO of the $113 million organization with approximately 1,100 staffers, after merging with a similar but much smaller Los Angeles-based organization, Prototypes, in late June.
