A Program of Walden House

Reentry services including system navigation, housing and case management, employment, healthcare and transportation services.

In partnership with the Los Angeles County Probation Department, PRCS serves participants throughout Los Angeles County with a subcontracted network of housing facilities providing Transitional Housing, Reentry Housing, Parent with Children, Board and Care, Recuperative Care, Skilled Nursing, and Welcome Centers. Reentry planning is coordinated through a staffing pattern of Case Managers, System Navigators and Service Coordinators. Ancillary needs such as work clothing, school tuition, permanent housing move-in costs, job training costs are available through referrals of the Probation Department.

Additionally, our community-based programs maintain partnerships with local health providers, housing advocates, employment assistance resources (including trade unions’ apprenticeship programs), and human services agencies to ensure that participants’ needs, and those of their families and support networks, are addressed. Meeting these needs contributes to the resilience of each participant and reduces the possibility of recidivism.
