Pomona Outpatient Behavioral Health Treatment Center

A Program of Prototypes

Prototypes’ Outpatient Behavioral Health Centers provide comprehensive substance use disorder treatment and mental health services for women, men and children.

Prototypes offers a variety of services with the goal of creating healthier families and communities. We offer extensive prevention and education programming for children that includes strategies designed to foster a healthy alcohol- and drug-free lifestyle. We also provide services designed to strengthen families, foster healthy parenting and prevent child abuse and maltreatment. These prevention and community-based programs work with parents and children to strengthen families and help them navigate child welfare services.

To be most effective in assisting their recovery, our outpatient substance use disorder treatment programs are designed to provide comprehensive, evidence-based treatment services for men and women aged 18 and older. Outpatient and intensive outpatient programs are available as well as services designed specifically for pregnant and parenting mothers, for parents who have an open case with child protective services, and for adults in the criminal or family court systems. All of our staff members are specially trained to assist clients with these unique issues.

Prototypes’ Outpatient Behavioral Health Centers provide comprehensive mental health services for men, women and children. Services range from prevention and early intervention to intensive services for those with more serious or chronic conditions. Staff provides services at Prototypes and in the community. These can include individual, group and family therapy, psychiatric treatment, medication management and medication-assisted therapies, case management, and referrals and coordination with primary care clinics.

Mental Health services are available for children ages 0-20 and adults 21 and over. Programs range from Prevention and Early Intervention (PEI), Outpatient Counseling Services, (OCS), Full Service Partnership (TAY), AB109 and Cal Works. The behavioral health team utilizes a holistic care approach, collaborating with med support, case management, SUD services and off site medical clinic. Our goal is to ensure that all of our clients receive the care they need to lead happier and healthier lives.
